Bridge Family Resources

Bridge Boston Charter School is proud to be full service. Our Family and Engagement Coordinator, Evelyn Correa, has compiled a list of community resources available for our BBCS families. These resources are especially helpful for those needing help with: education, health, housing, employment, law, mental health, parenting, and youth programs. For a more in-depth explanation of some of our program partners, check out Under the Bridge, our family newsletter.

Instruction is most powerful when educators have strong content knowledge and access to high-quality instructional materials and professional learning that promote inclusive practice accessible to all students. To support standards-based learning, we believe that every student should engage with grade-appropriate text every day, with meaningful real-world problems every day, and in scientific conversations using data every week.

As such, the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has designed family guides to the Massachusetts learning standards help families understand what students are expected to know and be able to do by the end of each grade. These guides are available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and simplified Chinese. Please click here to view the grade level guides to help best support you child’s learning!
